Claritas was delighted to sponsor the Derek Larner Memorial event on Sunday 12 January 2025. This is a cause particularly close to Claritas due to our excellent compliance employee Laura Larner, Derek’s wife, who we are very grateful to have working with us. Over 600 participants entered the race to raise money for Jasmine and the Cayman Islands Cancer Society, two organisations that supported Derek’s family during his illness.
Mark completed the 10k and Justine and Elisabeth ran the 5k, Katie, Kerrina and the Junior Team manned the water station so it was a full Claritas Team effort! The Junior Claritas Team excelled in their water station duties!
This will now be an annual event in the Cayman calendar to bring the community together to celebrate fitness and camaraderie – a fitting tribute to someone who gave so much to sport in Cayman.
