The team at Claritas celebrated its 2nd anniversary by hosting another hugely successful and well-attended seminar on Thursday 10 October. The seminar covered highly topical issues from this year and looked ahead at what the future holds for the Cayman Islands.
Elisabeth, Justine and Katie updated their guests on major regulatory issues, such as the beneficial ownership regime, proliferation financing risk requirements, changes to the Suspicious Activity Report regime, administrative fines and other penalties and the supervision of lawyers. Horizon scanning and the changing risk landscape as well as the implications for litigators and insolvency practitioners were also canvassed. The presentations were very interactive and led to many interesting and insightful discussions.
