Elisabeth and Justine advising the British Virgin Islands on their Anti Money Laundering effectiveness

Elisabeth and Justine have been instructed to assist the Virgin Islands with the remediation of the Recommended Actions contained in the Mutual Evaluation Report of February 2024.

A recent post published by the BVI Government statesthat “The Claritas team, represented by founders Elisabeth Lees and Justine Plenkiewicz, brings extensive experience and expertise in regulatory compliance, and has provided advice to governments at all stages, from evaluation preparation through to procedures and reviews to enhance their compliance with international standards relating to financial crime and the regulation of financial services. Claritas is collaborating directly with Attorney General Honourable Dawn J. Smith, and the National Coordination Unit to advance the National Action Plan”.

Elisabeth and Justine work with all the agencies responsible for Anti-Money Laundering, countering Terrorist Financing and the implementation of the Targeted Financial Sanctions’ Regime  in the Virgin Islands to assist in meeting the 64 Recommended Actions contained within the Mutual Evaluation Report.
