Joeniel is our Office Manager and Paralegal.

He assists our principals with compliance and legal matters and supports the office with administration and IT. 

Joeniel completed his LLB on 17 July 2023. Before that, he gained nine years of experience working in the legal field—seven years in the public sector and two years in the private sector. 

On 1 November 2023, he completed his ACAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) certification after being awarded the Cayman Islands Compliance Association Scholarship.

Joeniel then completed the Professional Practice Course at the Truman Bodden Law School, in partnership with Oxford Brookes University, on 5 July 2024. 

Joeniel began his Articled Clerkship with the Portfolio of Legal Affairs of the Cayman Islands on 1 October 2024. After nine months, he will return to Claritas on 1 July 2025 to complete the remaining nine months of his clerkship, finishing on 31 March 2026.
