On 1 April 2023, Leanni Tibbetts hosted a Women Empowerment Conference which served to provide young women with the knowledge and skills necessary to approach challenges.
Experts in finance, physical and mental health, all working toward the wellbeing and betterment of young women, came together to achieve this goal. The conference brought together members and participants of the Cadets, Big Brothers Big Sisters, students of John Gray High School and Clifton Hunter High School, and more.
Carrie Bee, Organiser, stated “this was a positive opportunity for the female community in Cayman and was all made possible thanks to sponsors like Claritas Legal.”
“Girl Power’s Women Empowerment Seminar was an extraordinary event, perfect for developing the skills of young women like myself. The event was informative and gave us an insight into matters like how to budget efficiently and how to deal with anxieties and fears. The advice given to us will have a lasting effect and will impact the way we operate in the future…” – Manu, Girl Power member.
“Thank you Claritas Legal & Regulatory Experts for helping to make the Girl Power Women Empowerment Seminar a reality” – Girl Power Cayman
